• No reports of invasiveness or naturalization (only known from cultivation)
  
• Usually unarmed
  
• Edible fruit
  
• Requires full sun
  
• Seedless (unless pollinated by other Citrus spp.)
  
• Not reported to spread vegetatively
  
• Reaches maturity in 4+ years
  
• Lack of seed production eliminates risk of inadvertent dispersal
