A palm tree that grows up to 45 feet tall. A fast grower, Archontophoenix cunninghamiana, is a low maintenance tree that produces no rubbish.

Plant with caution. The king palm is a noxious weed in some out-planting areas in Southern Brazil. In New Zealand, there is a concern that it may soon overtake native forests.
