Pink shower tree is a sweetly-scented flowering tree native to the forests of southeast Asia. A fast grower, mature height will average 35 feet tall. Pink flowers bloom profusely in the Spring and Summer. Pink shower tree requires some maintenance, mostly cleaning leaf litter, spent flowers and seed pods.

- Member of a genus that includes several known invasive species in Hawaiʻi and other tropical regions
Low Risk Traits:
- Not currently documented as aggressively invasive in Hawaiʻi
- Generally requires full sun and managed landscapes for best performance
- Limited evidence of forming dense, self-sustaining stands in natural areas
- Primarily spreads by seed rather than vegetative reproduction
- Often planted intentionally and maintained as an ornamental tree
