Sometimes called the world’s most beautiful ginger, the Malay rose is a rare variety from Malaysia. It grows 1-2 feet tall, with pink and white petals that are actually bracts. The Malay rose is attractive in the garden and long-lasting as a cut flower. It blooms from January to May. Leaves will burn in hot conditions if adequate water is not provided; this plant requires consistently moist soil.
